Checkpoint 2.2 - Result: needs checking

Color contrast: Check that color contrast between background and foreground (in text and images) is enough.

  HERA provides an independent utility that will facilitate you to check if background and foreground color combinations contrast enough, by applying the verification algorithm proposed by W3C.

Checkpoint 3.4 - Result: needs checking

Use relative rather than absolute units in markup language attribute values and style sheet property values. [Priority 2]

Absolute units in HTML: Verify if it is possible to enlarge and reduce as much as you wish every element in page.

  Tables and table cells that contain attributes like height and width are highlighted. Check that the values for those attributes are expressed in percentages, not in absolute measures.

Mark up lists and list items properly. [Priority 2]

  The different list types are identified. All content that conforms a list of elements should be marked as such and the markup should not be used to get presentation effects (padding, for example). If nested lists exist, it must be proven their correct nesting.

Provide information about the general layout of a site (e.g., a site map or table of contents). [Priority 2]

Site map: Check if a site map or content index is offered.

• Instructions:
  A map or contents index facilitates the localization of contents and the comprehension of the relationship between the different pages that compose a site. If the site is very small, the own navigation menu will act as content index. Verify that the map or index are marked appropiately.

Use navigation mechanisms in a consistent manner. [Priority 2]

Navigation: Check that navigation mechanisms are consistent in all the site.

  To verify the application of this point, it is necessary to observe if the navigation mechanisms always appear in the same location. In case icons are used, if these always point to the same resource and, if the behavior of those mechanisms is always the same.
